Are you considering renting or buying a pleasure craft or spending the weekend boating with friends and family? Each year thousands of Canadians hit the waterways, whether it is on a river, lake or ocean, to enjoy a number of activities such as waterskiing/wake-boarding, fishing, jet-skiing, or sailing to name a few. Before you go out on the water, a responsible boat operator will learn the rules of the sea and be aware of their responsibilities, ensuring the safety of themselves, passengers and others on any outing.

The boat Operator Card is required regardless of age, size of boat or engine horsepower. It is a requirement by law.
